Tidy Up

ID, just to tidy things up, but I'm wondering if I'm asking for trouble. ...

after doing three restarts today (i spilt a whole mug of tea on my keyboard), i noticed a bug in the boot sequence of 10.4.2. when the finder is starting, the menubar should slide down, then the dock should appear, sliding up. after then the menu bar applets start, and then finally, the icons appear. neat and tidy, everything appears tidy. not so on mine: it's only...
