hi i use a script to run curl to upload stuff to an ftp-server. under panther it works fine, but under tiger it almost always times-out, but sometimes it doesn't. authentication goes fine, it's just the upload that will fail. anyone any idea what goes wrong? i use this syntax

I've got my date settings in Tiger set to United Kingdom format but when I'm in Safari using date forms it refers to month/day/year and not day/month/year. I had this problem in 10.3 but resolved it by customising the settings. Trying this in 10.4 has no affect. Can anyone help?
