Are you using ffmpeg only (command line) or are you using fmpegX (GUI)? In order to burn the (s)vcd in toast, you'll need to author the file for burning in ffmpegX - look in the tools tab. RPS - That "warning" is normal.

I believe it can be no more than 150 mb. btw, I have Svcd problems. When I try ffmpegX, the terminal opens and says "If you're not using vcdimager, you can turn it off by pressing -d.
