I guess you'd need 10.3.x on that iMac in order for the drive to work. Apple hasn't added newly supported devices to old systems. Roxio's Toast Titanium might support the drive even on older systems, but then you'd need to find a license of a version of Toast that runs on 10.2. ...

Everything works fine on a iMac G5 that is on the same network. I never had any problems with my iBook or Powermac either. The iMac and the Powerbook have Airport Extreme cards. The iBook and Powermac have regular 802.11b Airport cards. My 333mhz iMac works fine on a USB 802.11b receiver. ...
