Sounds like your preferences all the way around need a little help. Since it's not just your iTunes/Dock etc, go to this file: com.apple.systempreferences.plist. It's in the: MacintoshHD>Users>Library>Preference folder. Drag that file to the Trash, empty the Trash, reboot your PBook and see if that improves the situation any. OS X is slower than OS 9 at updating Finder windows to reflect the current contents. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't -- it may work for one person all the time, or part of the time, or none of the time. Hi Joshiieee, First suggestion is to Trash the following file: com.apple.finder.plist In order to do that take this path: MacintoshHD>Users>Library>Preferences>com.apple.finder.plist. Drag that file to the Trash, empty the Trash and try a new Finder window. See if it is stable. If not, try running Disk Utility. That is in your Applicaitons>Utility folder. Launch Disk...
