To re-install apps from your install disk can be done with the third party application Pacifist. You will find your saved emails are kept in the folder /YourHardDrive/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/ .

IP Scanner will tell you if anyone is hijacking wireless bandwidth. It won't help you compose a thank you message to any forum members who you PM-ed asking how to post new threads, but that's ok, cuz that can happily wait until you've got your current problems sorted out. Good luck with that :)

Well to make QuickTime play most all media files take a look at the free Perian plugin and for non-DRM Windows Media files take a look at Flip4Mac. Now I hope you know about VLC. On a side note for web radio streaming I personally use FStream because it is small and stays out of the way.

It really depends if you have a modern Mac. I assume you already knew about the QuickTime Plugins Perian and Flip4Mac. Note that thanks to Microsoft's devote following of the RIAA & MPAA you wont be able to play windows Media 10 or above files because of the DRM laden nature of those files. After I got these QuickTime plugins i used the same program FStream to stream live...
