sorry, I did not explained myself correctly. I use this app. I need an application that can backup everything except the system. So ibackupis the solution but it is too slow. And btw, the backup of this program is saved on the hardrive. but I will be upgrading to leopard in a while so I will be using time machine.

The client OS X (not Server edition) does NOT have a built in FTP server! The Finder' FTP function is READ-ONLY. Unless you are a code monkey then go with a third party FTP server program, there are free ones floating around the net like FTPServer, along with many others.
