Spotlight

There is a great utility called "WhatSize" that does exactly what you are looking for - and as far as I remember, it is freeware. Pretty cool little app! Keep in mind, btw, that Apple says you'll need at least 10 % of your drive's capacity unused for OS X to run properly. (On many forums several people claim 20 % is more realistic.) ecirtap...

Safari will not install but I have a new file

Safari 1.2 will not install on a 10.4 machine because 10.4 uses Safari 2. Use a program like Pacifist (available from versiontracker.com) to extract the Safari application from your Mac OS X 10.4 Install CD/DVD.

Check there to see if your songs are still there or not, but from whatyou describe (songs appear in iTunes but cannot be found) it sounds like your iTunes database is ok, but the music is gone. Cleaning Up...

You better do some cleaning quick. With 28MB of free space on a 90GB drive, you can lose data, can become corrupt, and stand a change of hard drive problems. Installing OS 9 drivers when installing 10.3?

I'm with bobw on this one. It is better to have an not need it than to need it and not have it. There is no reported downside to installing the MacOS 9 drivers on your Mac. Read and be wise.
