How do manage all of your passwords?

I use Vault. I like it because it allows you to store free-form information for each item, in rich text format. Also, it lets you maintain multiple password vaults, so I have one for work and personal.

Get info not reporting # of files

Count Everest is a piece of freeware for this purpose. But a much faster program with a 30-day demo is Super Get Info by Bare Bones. VersionTracker is your friend. They have a pretty good search feature, and they list everything.

How can i control my mac from a pc?

If you have Tiger, you don't even have to install the VNC server. Just make sure Apple Remote Desktop is enabled in the Sharing System Preference, and check the option that says "VNC viewers may control screen with password" and specify that password. The Apple Remote Desktop VNC service always runs on port 5900 (Display 0)
