Not stupid at all. I run VMWare, an x86 emulator on *gasp* an x86 computer! Why? Testing different OSes without cluttering my room with more computers. VMWare has neither the capability of emulating a platform that can run OS X (i.e. PPC), nor is it able to run on a NON-x86 platform (it only runs under Windows or Linux)
