VNC is nice when you are trying to remotely see a UNIX desktop as in FreeBSD, Linux, Solaris... but if you are only interested in Mac to Mac, or PC to mac, give Timbuktu a try... ...

not a solution to your problem by a long shot, but here are some OSX versions of VNC.

For OS X I would recommend VNCThing. If you enter "VNC" while under the Mac OS X tab at versiontracker you will get this. VNCThing isn't the most recently made VNC tool, but it worked the best for me out of all of those listed. It has both server and client capabilities. ...
