I thought that port 3283, and VNC, had to be open to use ARD. I have forwarded my router and am able to connect remotely from my laptop to my iMac at home, but not been able to copy files back and forth. I can read mail, surf, etc. HERE is the wierd thing; when I checked the settings in System Preferences/Sharing/Firewall it says that port 3238, not 3283 has to be open. Is...

I can connect and control my home computer but am unable to copy files to the home computer using drag and drop from the laptop (admin). The only thing I see that is different is the ARD window says 'VNC on' but it used to say 'Available'. I thought it was my router but the settings look right.
