This is probably old hat for Unix gurus out there but I've finally got my little iBook to forward its X11 display to my desktop PC using a combo of Putty and eXceed. are going to be just running Matlab which is an X11 app and you want to have this display on a windows box. If that is what you are doing then don't bother with VNC or any of that stuff it will only slow you down. ...
