yep - just found that out last night. :( Anyway, I installed vnc, and it's faster than using 9 in classic anyway. Just did a complete reformat and reinstall of x only, this is close to perfect! J5

and seti up the VNC server at the G4 and control it from the PowerBook. I'll also recommend connecting them at 100 Mbit speed to that VNC doesn't slow down anything, but then you'd have to get a new ethernet card for your PowerMac. ...
