Believe it or not, but Microsoft Mac unit makes using the PC from your Mac easy (and is really good)! Microsoft Remote Desktop is one of those hidden things that Virtual PC look bad. Note: Contrary to men's nature, read the directions. It will be well worth it using this program.

iChat does take snapshots - however mirrored. You could use that and then mirror the picture with other programs. Or Mullesight, http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/25473 - haven't tested in 10.4, in 10.3 it worked fine. As it's free, maybe give it a try.

Pagemill was discontinued in 2000. There's also a "Pro" version available.

Wow, you messed it up... I only can advise you to get the Displays.PrefPane back. In order to do so you need either to install 10.4.1 on a different partition or you know someone who has 10.4.1 installed too. The File you've deleted is just about 200 K small.
