Strangely enough, "/" shouldn't be allowed in a Mac OS X file name. Files that you change to have a "/" in the file name, actually show a ":" in the file name if you look at them in the Terminal. ":" is a character that _wasn't_ allowed in Mac OS. Strange things... What you're looking for, I guess, is a tool for batch renaming, so you don't have to do it by hand. A search...
