I started with Tiger 10.4.11 and all was fine until I upgraded to leopard. The problem is that when garage band and ableton live lite try to open they just "close unexpectedly" (it wasn't so unexpected after the 5th time). I use handbrake lite to convert dvds over into my ipod mp4 format, i love it- it works great. Unfortunately I am an avid fan of foreign film, how do I convert subtitled movie over to my ipod, I try, but the subtitles never show. any tips, thanks.

Recently bought Lite-On DVD+RW. Having few teething probs though. Toast is fine for burning but cannot burn from desktop. Also, Toast will not succesfully erase my DVD+RW disk, says it has but then if I ask it to burn, it says "Cannot burn this disk do you want to erase" or something like. Has anyone got or can anyone make a driver for OS X? I had the same problem last time...
